HARD + SHINY

Directed by Danny Boyle and Boy Blue with set design by Es Devlin, Free Your Mind is an immersive new large-scale stage-show reimagining The Matrix.

In 1999, The Matrix depicted a world in which humanity is imprisoned in a virtual reality, as sentient machines harvested their energy. Nearly 25 years later, Free Your Mind reimagines The Matrix as an allegory, depicting a world where humans are enslaved by algorithms and entrapped by surveillance capitalism.

The show premieres October 13 2023 in Manchester at the new Aviva Studios, home of Factory International.
